We are thrilled to share that we found a potential allergy treatment for Lincoln! (I know we sound crazy, right?!) It's a big time and financial commitment throughout the next 4 years, but they are seeing an incredible 95% remission rate, which has us over the moon with excitement and all the emotions as we dream about Lincoln's future.
This treatment is only offered through the Food Allergy Institute in Long Beach and Vista, California. We'll be flying to CA every 9-12 weeks and thanks to the success of our 2023 tournament, we're gearing up for our 3rd trip already in December. (Woo!)
To help cover the ongoing financial needs including the program fees, lab fees, and the ongoing travel costs from SD to CA we are planning to host the annual Fore Food Freedom Golf Tournament! Lincoln has life-threatening allergies to 12 known foods, including dairy, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts and sesame. He's also allergic to two common medications.
Could use some love, but thankfully, we see a handful of tournaments in his future.
